Después de cerrar votaciones la semana pasada, DJ Mag anuncia en su portal que el miércoles 28 de octubre se llevará a cabo una fiesta en Londres en una locación secreta donde se dará a conocer quién es el nuevo número 1 del mundo.
Además, también se informa que la edición especial de la revista con el Top 100 de este año, saldrá a la venta el día siguiente después de la celebración.
Hay que recordar que DJ Mag es una revista especializada en música electrónica que desde 1997 realiza el TOP 100, un conteo de los 100 mejores DJ´s del año que por su influencia influye en todos los niveles de la industria de la música electrónica.
Los resultados de años pasados en cuanto a los numero 1 del mundo son los siguientes:
1997 – Carl Cox
1998-1999 – Paul Oakenfold
2000 – Sasha
2001 – John Digweed
2002-2004 – Tiesto
2005-2006 – Paul Van Dyk
